The Art Sauna was awarded the Concrete Structure of the Year 2022 prize for its innovative and skilful architectural design as well as high-quality project execution.
The Art Sauna features approximately 700 m² of Norwegian Alta slate supplied by Liuskemestarit. The stone has been used indoors in fireplace surfaces, floors and walls – including showers and the sauna. Outdoors, slate is used in stairs and terraces, and a natural stone wall also leads to the main entrance.
