During the Housing Fair summer, the Norrby family’s terrace was walked on by over 65,000 visitors. This level of foot traffic served as a true test of durability—one that few terrace materials would have passed as effortlessly.

The Bernardos slate selected for the terrace is naturally slip-resistant and remains pleasantly warm underfoot even in Finnish summer conditions. The same Bernardos slate from Liuskemestarit was also used for the stair treads and in interior design elements. The façade features Bernardos Leafstones stone shingles.
