Pikku-Aleksi & Jousimies, Tampere

Tampere Jousimies is a new development completed in 2022, located near Koskipuisto on Aleksanterinkatu. The renovation of the adjacent Tampere Pikku-Aleksi building was completed around the same time.

One of the key challenges in the renovation project was fixing slate to a concrete structure over new insulation layers. The stone rail system developed by Liuskemestarit proved to be the optimal solution. Kivikisko ECO is a fixing system designed for natural stone cladding on plinths and façades. The stones are mechanically hung onto a weather-resistant aluminium rail, creating a ventilated structure.
